Franklin Firefighter Saves Colleague Trapped in House Fire
A
Franklin firefighter, Lt. Jeff Boggs, has been hailed as a hero because he
saved a fellow firefighter. Boggs, a 19-year fire department veteran, was
responding to a house fire on Cambridge Place when he heard the voice of a
person in need pierce through the flames. He walked toward the yelling and
discovered fellow firefighter Tyler Chatham trapped when the kitchen floor
collapsed. Boggs grabbed Chatham and pulled him up, leaving him with EMS and
returning to his job. Chatham suffered minor injuries but is expected to make a
full recovery. Boggs is called a hero for his efforts, stating that everyone on
the crew can do that. Nevertheless, I'm so proud of him!
